Stationery & Wedding Feature | Alexia and Peter | Destination Wedding in Fiji

Earlier this year we had the privilege of designing invitations and wedding day stationery for Alexia and Peter, a couple from New Zealand. We are in absolute awe when looking at the photos and seeing how beautiful their special day came together in Fiji.

We created a couture design for their invites, which included a gold ornate perspex invitation, a textured additional card with gold foiled text and a custom monogram. The invite was placed inside a white textured envelope with a custom-made wax seal. The classic gold and white theme continued throughout their stationery designs in the four-page program fans, napkin bands, and on-the-day decor.

From the all-white floral arrangements and island garlands hanging from the ceilings to the casual reception dinner on the beach, this wedding feels like it hit the perfect combination between a destination and traditional style.

Mood Board Monday No. 2 – Down to Earth

It’s the start of another week and we are in full swing with our mood board Monday series. It’s almost summer time and warmer weather is slowly approaching. While we are still enjoying winter comforts, we thought it would be fitting to showcase the next mood board, titled: Down to Earth.

The stationery feature is a texture-inspired menu that we created for a styled shoot at the end of last year. It showcases a rich textured card on thick white cardstock and it is finished off with a printed leather piece that is wrapped around the card with twine.

The shoot titled “Artisan Paired” was the creative concept of Bona-Fide Creative Consultants and came together with the help of Andrea van der Spuy Photography, MYŪZU and Secret Diary.

Today we take a look at a recent wedding held at the Hidden Valley winelands venue in Stellenbosch. This beautiful couple, Sianne and Shane, tied the knot on the 16th of April 2016. Their magical moments were captured by Claire Thompson Photography and can be viewed on her website here. Secret Diary had the pleasure of creating the couple’s whimsical save the dates, invitations and reception stationery. We love the theme that incorporated cute bunnies, which were used as elements throughout the stationery and wedding day decor.

The themed invitation that was created for Sianne and Shane is definitely one of a kind. The wood is engraved in the front and when turned around contains a digitally printed card with the wedding day details. The invitation was placed inside a white envelope with a colourful floral printed liner. Secret Diary created menus for the couple’s wedding day that also included a wooden laser cut bunny on twine, how cute!

Moodboard 11: Grey & White

Moodboard 11 has brought us to the classic combination of Grey & White! And we say classic because we certainly feel that WE will never get tired of this stunning combination. As a matter of fact, we jump at the opportunity when our clients tell us that these colours are their wedding colours! When we hear “grey & white”, we automatically think elegance, sophistication, stylish, effortless glamour… the list could go on forever.

We have decided to take things up a notch with this mood board inspired by grey & white. Therefor we combined this beautiful, intricate charcoal grey laser cut pocket with a simplistic A5 insert card, digitally printed in charcoal text.
