We created a couture design for their invites, which included a gold ornate perspex invitation, a textured additional card with gold foiled text and a custom monogram. The invite was placed inside a white textured envelope with a custom-made wax seal. The classic gold and white theme continued throughout their stationery designs in the four-page program fans, napkin bands, and on-the-day decor.

From the all-white floral arrangements and island garlands hanging from the ceilings to the casual reception dinner on the beach, this wedding feels like it hit the perfect combination between a destination and traditional style.

A wedding invitation should provide your guest with a hint of what they can expect at the wedding that you have been dreaming of.  You are letting selected guests in on a lifelong dream of yours, that will soon become a reality that’s even more beautiful than you could ever think it would be. Therefore, go all out with at least one little element of your invitations, whether it is making use of foiling, embossing, debossing, letter pressing or a beautiful laser cut pocket as in this instance. Showcasing an invitation that portrays these VERY aspects, is this breathtaking invitation that we designed for Nono & Dizika who are getting married later this year at the stunning Cavalli Stud Estate. We created a quirky and unique family crest monogram for the couple consisting of a hare and a monkey, which we combined with their intertwined initials. We created two versions of their monogram for them: One to be foiled on the back flap of their invitations and one to be letter pressed on their invitation card along with the rest of their text, exempt for the couples names that were stamp foiled in gold. Their elegant invitation card was then placed inside a stunning intricate gold pocket.

We love this invitation and we hope these photos are able to this little beauty justice.

To showcase a little of what we are talking about, have a look at the beautiful cosmo-inspired wedding invitation that we designed for a recent photo shoot.  This invitation suite consists of a laser cut and engraved navy pocket (yes, we are able to engrave on paper as well); a silver, foiled and letter pressed invitation card digitally printed with a stunning cosmo background that includes an RSVP card. This stunning invitation is placed inside a silver envelope consisting of the same laser cut and engraved envelope liner as the pocket.  A masterpiece in its own right…

This flat, square card emphasises again just how beautiful and powerful the old printing technique of letter pressing really is. The impression that the letter pressing makes into the paper accentuates the hand-crafted feel of the save-the-date. The overall design is contemporary, with two contrasting typefaces being used. The sans serif typeface conveys the sense of modernity while the script typeface conveys a warmer, more romantic appeal.

So throughout, the save-the-date has the underlying theme of contrast, which is what makes it so attractive to the naked eye. The colour palette is dove grey and white – two neutral colours that can be seamlessly integrated into any other colour platte. The dove grey also works well when paired with gold, silver or even rose gold foiling, as another option.

If you fancy yourself and your fiancé a bit of a daring couple, why not consider a beautiful winter wedding? We have just the invitations to set a warm tone for your elegant celebration.  We would suggest the use of warm colour tones such as gold and blush pink combined with brilliant white. This colour scheme was used in this little artwork consisting of a stunning intricate laser cut gate folder pocket, a white insert card that has all text stamp foiled in gold and then placed into a white envelope with a stunning gold glitter paper liner to round things off!

We created this beautiful, embossed pocket invitation for Emma & Cameron’s special day, that just overflows with delicate details! The A5, off-white pocket is embossed with a stunning lace-inspired pattern on the bottom flap and a smooth, unprinted top flap. The main invitation is letter pressed in two colours: The couple’s names in a duck-egg blue, and the 4 additional cards in charcoal.  This invitation pocket is finessed with a duck-egg blue ribbon and placed inside an envelope with a charcoal envelope liner… Simplistic elegance from start to finish!

We are extremely honoured to showcase one of our latest invitations consisting of this colour combination. We created this STUNNING blush pink laser cut, pocket invitation for Kaela & Mwewa. This invitation consisted of an intricate blush pink laser cut pocket with a cream shimmer paper invitation card, that was letterpressed in grey with the couple’s names foiled in rose gold. To round the card off, we embossed a beautiful pattern of a tree and birds on the side of their card.
