The invite comprises of two digitally printed discs that are held together by a bradlet pin at the top and it comes with an envelope made from brown kraft paper and a matching liner.

The couple opted for a modern and clean-lined monogram that is showcased with the simple MT and NT that is stacked between two straight strokes. The graphic patterns – shades of pink shapes and black dots – on the cards and liner also bring in that element of simplicity and it makes this such a frill and fuss-free invitation piece.

Therefore, go all out with at least one little element of your invitations, whether it is making use of foiling, embossing, debossing, letter pressing or a beautiful laser cut pocket as in this instance. Select an element that suits both you and your fiancé’s style to the T.  Should you like more than one printing technique do feel free to combine a few… The end result will be nothing short of stunning!

This specific invitation consists of beautiful intricate floral, botanical and bird cut-out details on the white pocket. Two digitally printed cards are then inserted into the pockets that are in a cream colour tone with black text.  We hope you enjoy looking at these images as we know we sure love them.

Showcasing an invitation that portrays these VERY aspects, is this breathtaking invitation that we designed for Nono & Dizika who are getting married later this year at the stunning Cavalli Stud Estate. We created a quirky and unique family crest monogram for the couple consisting of a hare and a monkey, which we combined with their intertwined initials. We created two versions of their monogram for them: One to be foiled on the back flap of their invitations and one to be letter pressed on their invitation card along with the rest of their text, exempt for the couples names that were stamp foiled in gold. Their elegant invitation card was then placed inside a stunning intricate gold pocket.

We love this invitation and we hope these photos are able to this little beauty justice.

Secret Diary designed a minimalistic and simply clean invitation for Isabella and Geoffrey’s wedding day. Weddings are a momentous occasion and closely associated with all things romantic, but often, the wedding invite ends up feeling slightly cliché or even corny when couples think that there is a direct design medium through which to express love. People always think love has a colour, a typeface, perhaps a tied bow and maybe a few heart icons scattered around the invite, just in case people don’t get the idea.

To me, this invite expresses love in a subtle, elegant and romantic manner so that you feel as though you’re almost part of the couples love story. The invite boasts a contemporary and elegant use of script type that is not overwhelming.

The colour palette of blush pink and grey is soft and sophisticated, which conveys the overall romantic feel of the invite; coupled with the protea illustrations, which add a natural, floral aspect to the invite. Another aspect of the invite that makes it a memorable one is the extra information card with the couples photograph on it; it matches the set perfectly in terms of expression and style but also in the similar colour and tones of the protea illustration.

To me, less is always more, and this invite showcases that principle perfectly, without the standard wedding clichés that we are so used to.
